At least we do not adulterate the word of God, as so many do, but it is in all purity, as envoys of God and in God's presence, that we speak in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:17)

Br. Shaji George was born on March 27th, 1968 in the village of Chembakappara in Kerala, India. Till the age of 21, he led a worldly life. A meeting with Br. Victor in 1990 transformed him radically. Under the spiritual guidance of Br. Victor, he was quickly converted from a timid and shy youth to a fearless preacher of God’s Word.

Br. Shaji travelled untiringly to strengthen many in the Catholic faith, giving talks in parishes, religious communities and prayer groups. Br. Shaji was also the first among Br. Victor’s associates who recognised the unique charism given to Br. Victor. By his words and example, Br. Shaji constantly encouraged his fellow associates to remain faithful to the teachings of their founder (2 Timothy 3:14). In 1995, God called this young preacher to Himself at only 27 years of age.

Br. Shaji’s powerful witness encouraged many young people to devote themselves wholly to Christ.
