Trust in Divine Providence

“Take no purse with you, no haversack, no sandals. Salute no one on the road.” Luke 10:4

When Jesus sent His disciples out to evangelise, He commanded them to take no gold or silver; they were to put all their trust in Divine Providence. God takes great care of His friends, assuring them that He will provide for all their needs if they trust completely in Him - as we see in the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. Quite often we do not experience the Providence of God because of our lack of faith in His Words. Therefore, let us shake off our unbelief and renew our trust in the Lord who knows what is best for us in every situation.
