There is merit in putting up with the pains of undeserved punishment

March 11, 2017“You see, there is merit if, in awareness of God, you put up with the pains of undeserved punishment;” 1Peter 2:19
Very often we complain if we are wrongly accused or punished unjustly. But Jesus’ suffering and death on the Cross reveals the redemptive value of undeserved punishment, which the world cannot understand. As we aim for eternal life, let us make use of every opportunity to endure all undeserved punishment and so share in the suffering of Christ.
