The way of wisdom made easy

“How very harsh Wisdom is to the undisciplined! The senseless does not stay with her for long: for Wisdom is true to her name, she is not accessible to many.” Sirach 6:20,22. 
For those who lack discipline, the way of wisdom appears to be very hard and demanding. For those who have been blessed with deep repentance and have happily taken on themselves the rigor of discipline, the path of wisdom comes easily and naturally. Therefore, let us pray with all our might for a new spirit that we may shake off our laziness and jump up with fresh zeal on the path of wisdom.
