Lord, teach us to pray

“Now it happened that He was in a certain place praying, and when He had finished, one of His disciples said, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.’” Luke 11:1

When a disciple of Jesus expressed his deep and earnest desire to learn how to pray, Our Lord rewarded him with the revelation of the ‘Our Father’. How great indeed are the revelations that Jesus has prepared for those who truly desire to enter into a deeper knowledge and union with His Father! Let us earnestly express our deepest desires to our Lord so that He will teach us how fulfill the Will of our Heavenly Father.
