Jesus, the One Who became a sin-offering for our guilt

“Whereas He was being wounded for our rebellions, crushed because of our guilt; the punishment reconciling us fell on Him, and we have been healed by His bruises”. Isaiah 53:5

Why did Jesus have to suffer so much, even to being hounded to death like the worst criminal on earth? It was the plan of the Heavenly Father that His Son should suffer all these pains. In fact, He laid upon the shoulders of His innocent Son the weight of our sins, and it was His good pleasure to take away our guilt and heal us by the bruises of His Divine Son.
