The Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head

“Jesus answered, ‘Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay His head.” Luke 9:58

Just as it was two thousand years ago, even today Jesus has nowhere to rest His head. As He knocks on our door, He is met with coldness, indifference and ingratitude everywhere. Are we willing to open our hearts to Him? Are we willing to let Him rest in our hearts? Let us invite our gentle and loving Lord into our hearts and homes. If we give Him a place to rest on earth, we can be sure that He will give us a place to rest in Heaven.
