Mary, the masterpiece of God’s creation

December 8, 2016“She is a breath of the power of God, pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; so nothing impure can find its way into her.” Wisdom 7:25
According to the prophecies, the Messiah who was to save humanity from the slavery of sin and the curse of death was to be born of a woman. This woman, predestined to be spouse of the Holy Spirit and Mother of God, was to be all holy and without the slightest stain of sin. When we look at Mary, we see in her what we shall all become if we too, like Her cooperate with the gift of God’s grace granted to us so richly through Christ Jesus our Lord.
