Let your first words be, ‘Peace to this house!’

“Whatever house you enter, let your first words be, ‘Peace to this house!’” Luke 10:5

The Lord's messengers were to be heralds of peace - that true and lasting peace brought about by the reign of the Kingdom of God. People who yearn to be at peace with God and men are the ones who experience the blessings of the Gospel in all its richness.
